Water Level & Liquid Level Sensors

Liquid level sensors are designed to detect and monitor the level of liquid that flows in an open or closed system or even to help monitor the level of a river or lake. Point level sensors, which are used to monitor a liquids height. These functions as a high alarm signalling an overfill or a low alarm condition.

Continuous level sensors, these are advanced devices that monitor a whole system. Measuring fluid level within a range, as opposed to one point, producing an analogue output that correlates to the liquid level.

Magnetic level sensors, these use a magnetic float that moves with the liquid surface, actuating a reed switch in the stem. These simple sensors minimise shock, vibration, and pressure, and work with a variety of media.

Capacitive level sensors, with these devices the sensor and vessel form the two electrodes of a capacitor. Any capacitance change caused by a level change is converted into a digital signal.
