Hall Effect sensors measure the changing voltage within a
magnetic field. They are used for proximity sensing, positioning, speed
detection and current sensing. They are commonly used in applications such as pneumatic cylinders, printers and computer keyboards. Hall Effect sensors may
operate as electronic switches, which are reliable and cost effective, and
unaffected by environmental contaminants and therefore can be used under severe
conditions. Linear Hall Effect sensors can measure a wide range of magnetic
fields and measure either North or South Pole magnetic fields.
We supply a range of Hall Effect sensor ICs suitable for a
variety of applications, from manufacturers including Honeywell.
