Pressure & Vacuum Switches
Pressure and vacuum switches are utilised in pneumatic systems facilitating
pressure or vacuum to flow effective and safely around the system, ensuring it
remains stable. Vacuum and Pressure Switches form an essential part of the
control system, ensuring that optimal operating conditions are maintained.
Pressure switches rely on system pressure to operate and are
controlled by fluid pressure on the input. As the pressure reaches a predetermined
point a contact will close ensuring that the pressure stays within set limits.
Vacuum switches regulate the flow of vacuum between two zones ensuring it is
present where it is needed. Pressure and vacuum switches variants include
negative pressure, electro-mechanical pressure, relative pressure and compound
pressure.
