ATEX Level Sensors

ATEX Level Sensors also known as Liquid or Water Sensors are used to detect the level of fluids and liquids, granular materials and powders in volatile processing environments. ATEX Zones 0, 1, 2, 20, 21 and 22 demand that any process control devices are incapable of igniting the atmospheric conditions they operate in. 

Flammable gases, mists, vapours or combustible dust can cause a dangerous explosive atmosphere in the workplace. A single source of ignition could cause an explosion, leading to damage to property and fatal injuries. Typical applications for ATEX Level Sensors include chemical and petrochemical processing and environments where flour and wood are processed.
