Safety Switch, Interlock, 1NC/1NO
The D4NS series slow action lock style keyed door safety switch has been designed for position monitoring of industrial safety doors and gates featuring a robust plastic body, 1NC/1NO contacts and a current capacity of 10A.
The conduit entry size is PG13.5 and there are four head mounting directions possible. The standardised gold plated contacts ensure high contact reliability and the materials used in the manufacture of this safety interlock switch are free of lead, cadmium, and hexavalent chrome, which help reduce the burden on the environment.
What do safety switches do?
Door safety switches are designed to detect the opening of guards or doors and help in the prevention of access to hazardous areas and to stop machines safely. When activated a safety door switch will respond with a signal which is then interpreted by another aspect of the installation and acted on, such as shutting down a press tool or moving machinery.
