Rocker Switches

Rocker Switches are one of the most common switch types in use today due to their ease of use and their reliability. In essence a Rocker Switch is a basic on/off switch that operates by rocking back and forth.

Rocker switches are commonly referred to as single pole and double pole rocker switches, a single pole switches one circuit by opening and closing or changing the connection of a single conductor, while a double pole can switch 2 circuits at the same time. Rocker Switches come in a variety styles including; basic on-off, Illuminated or not, momentary, changeover and centre-off.

Non-illuminated rocker switches generally feature a circle with a horizontal dash to indicate whether the switch is on or off, whereas illuminated rocker switches have a coloured LED to indicate its functional status.
