Circuit Trips

Helping to protect your electrical supply system are circuit trip devices. These handy components include shunt trips which mechanically trip a circuit breaker when power is applied to its terminals, and undervoltage release shunts which trip an electrical circuit breaker when its voltage drops below a threshold level. A thermal overload relay is another device used to protect an electrical circuit when heat from excessive current draw causes it to trip.
