Low Voltage 450 A Dual Element Fuse, Bolted Tag
This 450 A Low-Peak, Time Delay, Dual Element, Bolted Tag Fuse provides the ultimate in protection and are the industries only UL Listed and CSA certified fuses with a 300 kA interrupting rating, providing 50% more protection than any other listed fuse.
A true dual element fuse with a minimum 10 second time delay at a 500% overload condition, this long delay time minimises needless fuse openings due to temporary overloads and transient surges. This dependable time delay fuse provides a faster response to damaging short circuit currents than comparable mechanical overcurrent protection devices. Dual element fuses have a lower resistance than ordinary fuses and consequently run cooler during operation.
Ideally suited for the protection of sensitive devices and critical components, motors and transformers. The high interrupting rating allows for simple, worry-free installation in virtually any industrial and commercial application.
