What is a Slotted Tag Fuse?

Every electric circuit within an industrial application will be protected by a fuse. A slotted tag fuse contains a weak sacrificial link that breaks during an overload or short circuit scenario to protect the rest of the electrical system. Slotted tag fuses are distinguished by the slotted metal tags that extend from the ends of the fuse body in either offset or central orientations. Slotted tag fuses vary in a number of different ways including fuse speed, voltage, amperage rating, breaking capacity and their physical size and shape. Suitable for a wide variety of industrial electrical circuit and device protection purposes.
