Lockouts are devices that are used to secure machinery and power sources from being accidentally operated, resulting in a dangerous situation for an operative who is servicing or accessing machinery perhaps to change press tools, or jigging.

By using a lockout procedure, you can ensure that any machinery that is to be used is properly isolated and cannot be operated accidentally. Lockouts come in a wide variety of types including hasp lockouts, ball valve lockouts, handles with lockout bar, circuit breaker lockouts and comprehensive kits containing a range of safety lockout devices.
