Power
Supply Units come in a huge range of sizes and styles, from Fully Modular and Semi-Modular,
DIN Rail and Embedded to Switch Mode PSUs depending on the specific application
there will be a power supply unit available. The basic premise is to convert
the primary input voltage to a output voltage that can be used by the system
beyond the power supply, such as a mains input of 240 Vac being reduced and
converted to a 12 Vdc output.
