General Terminals
Terminal
blocks are used to terminate wires and arrange them in a strip to connect electrical
circuit wiring to another circuit or electrical supply. Terminals are a
very flexible electrical connector utilised in a vast range of applications in
many sectors such as automotive, railway and process engineering industries, and
can easily be extended to consumer goods.
Terminal blocks are available in many types including,
barrier strips, distribution
blocks, fused terminal blocks, DIN
rail terminals including spring and cage clamp and many more. DIN rail terminal
blocks are most widely used in industrial applications, where they form part of
the electrical supply systems. DIN rail terminals are installed on DIN
rails, which are metal channels used for mounting control equipment inside
equipment racks or enclosures.
