British Style BS88 240 Vac 180 Amp fuse
This BS88 240 Vac 180 Amp high-rupturing capacity fuse (HRC) is of a bolted TAG designed which contains a sacrificial link that breaks during an overload or short circuit scenario to protect the rest of the electrical system. BS88 fuses are used in low-voltage industrial and general-purpose applications such as AC and DC drives, power converters, rectifiers and domestic applications meeting the requirements of BS88 and IEC60269.
Featuring mounting tags with a through-holes design to allow this 180 LET type BS88 fuse to be easily bolted into an electrical system, and simple to replace during servicing. BS88 fuses can differ by fuse speed, voltage, breaking capacity, amperage rating, physical size and the orientation of their tags. Compatible with a wide range of British Standard fuse holders.
